It’s not very often that we have vans for sale, in fact ever since we first opened, we have only had a handful up for grabs. However, we now have this 2014 (64) Toyota ProAce available for sale and it certainly looks like a practical, spacious and affordable van.

This ProAce van was most recently used by a self employed joiner and it would be an ideal medium sized workhorse for a variety of trades. One of the benefits of a ProAce is that Toyota share designs & technology with the likes of Citroen & Peugeot who both have identical vans (the Dispatch & Expert) so it’s a tried and tested design thanks to this manufacturer alliance. In fact, the Fiat Scudo is linked to the aforementioned vans and these vans have all be very popular and effective in their respective markets.

The styling of the van is simplistic and unassuming, it might not be the most stylish of vans in comparison to it’s competitors but it’s a very functional and practical vehicle, which ultimately is the primary purpose of a van. This van benefits from having side loading doors on each side of the vehicle, meaning regardless of what side of the road you’re parked on you can access the load area with ease from either side. It also has 3 seats in the cabin for passengers further emphasising it’s practicality.

The ProAce runs the 1.6 HDi engine, which is known for being a economical engine capable of returning good MPG figures whilst being a comfortable cruiser and more than capable of performing under full load with ease.

Getting heavy cargo into the back of the van is an easier task thanks to it’s low loading level. Being the L1H1 it’s the short wheelbase (2254mm load length) & standard roof model (1449mm height) with a load area width of 1602mm, which narrows to 1245mm between the wheel arches. The payload for this van is 1,200 kg so it makes for a very functional and practical van overall.

To manage expectations, it’s important to remember this is of course a 10 year old van with just shy of 75,000 miles and has likely spent all, if not most of it’s life as a works van and the condition reflects this. We would argue for the age, mileage & type of vehicle it is, it’s in good condition but it of course has signs of use, dents, marks on the body work and load area etc but overall there is plenty life left in this van. In terms of its service history, there’s only 2 previous invoices supplied for the vehicle, however we will be carrying out a fresh service at point of sale.

The van comes with a fresh MOT with no advisories until 12/09/2025 and we will also be replacing the rear brake discs and pads prior to sale. It comes with 1 key, roof bars & spare wheel all included.
