It’s been a few months since we last had in a hot-hatch, so we are delighted to be advertising this brilliant Seat Leon Cupra 300!

Where to begin with this one, let’s start with the fact it instantly catches your attention with that vibrant Eclipse Orange paintwork, with the 19” Cupra Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels and Black Door Mirror Caps offsetting perfectly against it. If subtlety is your preference, then this isn’t the car for you – but if you want something that looks & sounds brilliant, this is the one to go for. The interior complements the exterior nicely, with clean, & stylish finish – the Front Sport Seats & Alcantara Interior being a lovely touch to further hammer home the sporty nature of this car. The Cupra 300 shares a lot of similarities with that of the Volkswagen Golf R – not a surprise given Seat are part of the Volkswagen Group. The main difference between them is that the Cupra is Front Wheel Drive, the benefit of this being the drive feels a bit more engaging. Not only that, but you could argue the value for money of these Cupra’s is far more than that of the incredibly similar Golf R.

Being a Cupra, this car is fitted with a powerful and exciting 2 litre petrol engine, producing an incredible 296 BHP (300PS) – 280 lbs/ft of torque. To put this into perspective, the power and performance of this car is not for the faint hearted, it’s capable of 0-62 MPH in just 5.7 seconds. A great feature of the Cupra is that it offers different drive modes – Normal, Sport, Cupra & Individual. Each mode changes the cars throttle & steering response allowing you to really hone in on the performance as and when you want to. These are extremely fun cars to drive, they have instant power & performance, superb handling and provide plenty of excitement. Another feature of this car is that it has Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) – which basically means the car automatically adjusts the suspension dampening depending on what drive mode you’re in. It will react to bumps, corners etc and alter the suspensions stiffness electronically, again allowing you to maximise the cars performance.
You might think that a car with this kind of performance isn’t a practical daily driver, however when driven accordingly you can still return respectable MPG figures. Being a hot-hatch, the suspension is firm and it does have Sports Seats, yet it’s still a comfortable daily cruiser.

When it comes to spec, this car is incredibly well equipped. The features include: Dual Zone Climate Control, DAB Radio, Bluetooth, Sat Nav, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Cruise Control, Winter Pack (Heated Front Seats), Electronic Parking Brake, Full LED Headlights & Fog Lights, Lap Timer, Sport Gauges Front & Rear Parking Sensors.
