About Us
A Bit About Us
MSB Used Car Sales is a family run business that was started by father and son, Steve and Michael Bibby. We decided to combine our sales and engineering backgrounds as we have always worked on cars together as a hobby, so when the idea was suggested to start a business together we both thought it was too good an opportunity to turn down.
Classic Italian cars are what we both have an interest in, particularly those from the 1960’s through to the late 1990’s. Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Abarth and Lancia are the ones that interest us the most, alongside the obvious choices of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati.
As we set out on this new business venture together, we aim to provide a friendly, reliable and high level service where our customers can feel confident and satisfied that they have made the right decision purchasing their vehicle from us.
Meet The Team
Michael Bibby
Sales
Michael is the youngest of the Bibby family, who has been working in the motor trade since leaving college back in 2017. Starting out as a ‘Product Genius’ (we use the term ‘genius’ loosely here…) before progressing to a Sales Executive role.
Having worked at two different dealerships across Dundee & Angus, Michael has developed a working background in both new and used car/van sales specifically with the Hyundai, Renault, Dacia and MG franchises.
After inheriting his father’s passion for cars, if you know Michael well you’ll know he has more cars than he knows what to do with, always on the hunt for another project and challenge- usually something Italian, non-running and corroded beyond belief.
Steve Bibby
Engineer
Steve left Leicester Polytechnic after studying Engineering back in 1979. He has over 35 years of international oil and gas experience with Texaco, Chevron and as an independent oil and gas contractor.
Arguably the brains behind the company (or we let him believe this at least…) certainly the sensible and ever reliable one! He thought he could get a quiet retirement to finally work on his Alfa Guilia, but before he got a chance to even consider that possibility Michael had him signed up to put his engineering skills to use here at MSB.
Those of you that are lucky enough to know Steve personally are aware of just how much of a petrol head he really is, no job too big and always up for the challenge.
